Laraine Low, OD

Dr. Low, a Sacramento native, received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at Davis and then continued her studies at the University of California at Berkeley graduating with her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1988. After graduating, "Dr. Laurie" joined her father, Dr. Jimmy Low, in private practice. Retired in January of 2000, "Dr. Jimmy" started our practice nearly 60 years ago!
Dr. Laurie is a Past President of the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society and a member of the California Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. She was also honored as the "Young Optometrist of the Year" by the California Optometric Association in 1994. |
Dr. Low has been interviewed on local television and in the Sacramento Bee discussing topics ranging from the importance of professional comprehensive examinations for children to balancing a professional career and family.
Brett Greenwood, OD

Dr. Greenwood was born in Tracy, CA and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He then went on to graduate with a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1988. Married to Dr. Laraine Low since 1989, Dr. Greenwood joined her in practice in the fall of 1999 when their second son was born. Dr. Greenwood previously managed a practice in Stockton. He is a member of the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society, the California Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Greenwood and Dr. Low have been featured in an article on optometry in the Sacramento Bee newspaper. In his spare time, Dr. Greenwood enjoys travel and cycling. |
